
CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United off to Tunis for Club Africain clash
Nigerian Premier League side, Rivers United have left the country for their CAF Confederation Cup engagement with Club Africain of Tunisia.

The Pride of Rivers flew out from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, onboard an Egypt Air flight at 2:45 pm on Sunday.
The contingent, which includes players and officials, are expected to arrive Tunis on Monday.
The matchday four tie is billed to take place at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi Stadium, Rades, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
The match is slated to kick off at 8 pm.
Rivers United defeated the North African club side 1-0 last Sunday, with Nyima Nwagua scoring the only goal of the game.
Rivers United presently occupies the second position in Group A table with six points from four games.
