Transfer: French, Saudi clubs scramble for free agent, Simon

French Ligue 1 clubs, Olympic Lyon, OGC Nice and Lille have their sights set on Nantes winger, Moses Simon.

Simon will be out of a contract by next summer following his refusal to sign a new deal at Nantes.

Reliable transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed that the three clubs are interested in the player.

There is also interest for the Nigeria international from Saudi Arabia.

“Moses Simon, one to watch in 2024 as he’s out of contract in June. Not only OL as per @foomercato; understand also OGC Nice and Lille are interested in the Nigerian player.

“Saudi clubs have also asked for potential conditions of the deal,” Romano wrote on his X handle.

The 28-year-old joined Nantes from Spanish League side, Levante on loan during the 2019/20 season.

The move became permanent the following season.

Simon has scored 29 goals and given 31 assists in 161 appearances for Nantes.
